Pretoria, December 23, 2025.- The Cuban Ambassador to South Africa, Fakri Rodríguez Pinelo, welcomed the Director for Europe and the Americas of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations of the Kingdom of Lesotho, Tebogo Rakoloi, at the headquarters of the diplomatic mission.
During the meeting, they reviewed the main issues in bilateral relations and advocated for the strengthening of ties and cooperation between both countries during 2026.
The Ambassador thanked the Basotho official for his country's support during the vote on the blockade resolution, as well as for the condemnation of the issue in Prime Minister Sam Matekane's speech during the UN General Assembly debate.
