Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. December 16, 2020. The Ambassador of Cuba in Mongolia, Raúl Delgado Concepción handed today the documents that officially accredit three young Mongols selected for higher education on the island as part of the cooperation program that Cuba offers annually to this Asian nation. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the presentation had to be made individually and taking into account the distancing measures.
The three young mongolian received the ballots that accredit them as beneficiaries of the scholarship for free higher level studies in Cuba and were able to learn about the effort made by the Caribbean nation to welcome thousands of young people from numerous countries as a modest contribution to the training of their human resources of these nations.
In his words, the Ambassador stressed to each of the students that these scholarships for studies in higher education contribute directly to the development of human resources in Mongolia and other third world countries and that this modest but important contribution of Cuba are part of the ideology and the immense work of solidarity created by our Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
In 61 years of the Revolution, more than 120 young people from Mongolia have graduated in Cuba in different specialties, including medicine, stomatology, engineering, a degree in pharmacy and sports, among others. (EmbaCuba Mongolia)
