Ties between Cuba and NEHAWU on the way to strengthening

Pretoria, December 10, 2024 - The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Cuban Embassy in South Africa, Bryan Betancourt Brito, received part of the leadership of the National Education and Health Allied Workers Union (NEHAWU), who paid a fruitful visit to the diplomatic headquarters.

The importance of international solidarity and cooperation among the peoples of the Global South was discussed during the fraternal exchange. Likewise, the South African comrades strongly condemned the blockade against Cuba and reaffirmed their solidarity with the Cuban people.
