Tribute to Fidel Castro in Mongolia on the second anniversary of his physical disappearance.

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. November 25, 2018. A heartfelt tribute to Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, took place today at the Cuban Embassy in Mongolia. In commemoration of the second anniversary of his physical disappearance, the Cuban Residents, the President of the Mongolia Cuba Friendship Association, the Mongolian Graduates Association in Cuba, the Ambassadors of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Lao People's Democratic Republic, participated in the evening held in evocation of the father and guide of the Cuban Revolution.

The exhibition "Fidel and the foreign policy of the Cuban Revolution" was presented during the commemoration and the participants were able to appreciate relevant moments in the political history of Fidel's life. The words of Cuban Ambassador Raúl Delgado Concepción reminded those present of what Fidel Castro Ruz's work represents for Cubans in the history of Cuba. It was also highlighted by the words of the Ambassador the invaluable contribution of our Commander in Chief in international policy in defense of the most dispossessed of the planet. "The patriotic teaching and value inculcated by Fidel over more than 57 years of Revolution for all Cubans constitutes the most praiseworthy execution of the homeland that José Martí dreamed," the Ambassador said.

 

Audiovisual materials were projected on the life of the Commander and in particular the attendees could remember the speech given by Fidel during the Rio de Janeiro Summit in 1992, emblematic for its strength and sharpness in pointing out the most pressing problems of humanity and its vision that a better world is possible.
