Trinidad City

Trinidad de Cuba has one of the most beautiful and best preserved architectural complexes in America, recognized as the Museum City of the Caribbean Sea, its historic center was declared by UNESCO, in 1988, Cultural Heritage of Humanity, along with its Valley of the Wits. With a different microclimate from the rest of the island, temperatures range between 16° and 25°C with a moderate subtropical climate. It has indescribable natural beauties such as the Great Topes de Collantes Protected Natural Park.

It also received the title of Creative City, in Crafts and Popular Arts, in October 2019 by UNESCO, while it received the title of Craft City of the World in 2018.

It is a city that was forged with the sweat of black slaves; their religious beliefs, together with its aboriginal roots and the influence of European colonizers, constitute its cultural identity today.

The musical talents of the territory are added to the culture, which have contributed significantly to Cuban music. Another jewel it has is its manual work that makes it a city of artisanal traditions.

Thanks to its geographical location, it is one of the most complete destinations in Cuba, boasting one of the most beautiful beaches on the country's southern coast. There are diving spots on the peninsula, and nearby you can enjoy a Seafari or simply witness a beautiful sunset.

Trinidad is a destination that stands out for its natural beauty and intact Cuban golden age architecture, but it is undoubtedly distinctive for its culture, both tangible and intangible. A clear element of this is the great natural and archaeological reserve of the 19th century sugar industry, whose production made this city the most prosperous in Cuba.
