Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. October 27, 2018. The authorities of the city of Ulaanbaatar celebrated the 379th anniversary of the city's foundation today. Among the activities carried out by the City Hall, the diplomatic corps accredited in Mongolia, could share the celebration with the Mayor of Ulan Bator Mr. S. Batbold and the President of the City Council Mr. S. Amarsaikhan.
The event was enlivened by artistic representations of the Mongol culture that included dances and popular songs by prestigious local artists. Both representatives made a presentation that included the main projects and agreements of the city in terms of urbanization, improvement of public transport, fight against pollution among other problems facing the population growth of the city. Mr. Amarsaikhan, for his part, thanked the heads of mission for the support in matters of cooperation in the different joint work areas and for their presence in the commemoration activity.
