Warsaw, January 19, 2026.
Friends of Cuba condemns the US imperialist aggression against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and continuous threats against the Republic of Cuba. We condemn the use of force in the international relations and the criminal act resulting in the deaths of Venezuelans as well as 32 Cuban soldiers.
Attack on Venezuela constitutes an unquestionable and open violation of international law. It was an act of terror preceded by numerous acts of piracy against tankers transporting Venezuelan oil.
Donald Trump's administration aims to intimidate the entire Latin America. The US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is conducting a campaign of slander against the Republic of Cuba and its revolutionary government.
We are certain that the Republic of Cuba will not bow to the demands of the US imperialists. We salute the memory of the 32 Cuban heroes who gave their lives in defence of Venezuelan sovereignty and its president Nicolas Maduro. We are united in grief with their families and friends.
The memory of 32 Cuban heroes will live on.
