Kingstown, 31 January 2025. Representatives of the University of the West Indies (UWI) Global Campus SVG, visited the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy in this country, where they were received by Ambassador Carlos Ernesto Rodríguez Etcheverry.
Both sides discussed the possibilities of bilateral cooperation with Cuban counterparts, in areas such as teaching the Spanish language, art and Cuban dances, among others.
The head of the entity, Dr. Resa Noel-McBarnett, made a presentation on the main face-to-face and virtual courses available at UWI, while the Cuban diplomat emphasized the great importance that Cuba attaches to education and culture, and its main achievements at the national and international levels in these areas.
