Pretoria, 14 October 2025.- Officials from our mission participated in an emotional act of solidarity with Venezuela held this Tuesday at its embassy in the South African capital, with the aim of denouncing the US aggression, the economic, media and political war against Venezuela and revealing the true motive of the threats: to control the vast oil reserves of the South American country.
The Bolivarian ambassador in Pretoria, Carlos Feo Acevedo, explained in detail the background of this aggression, which dates back to 2014, although with different styles: economic blockade, diplomatic pressure, defamation and fake news, that is, the same unconventional warfare manual. He also referred to the political and economic background of the aggression: to extinguish the revolutionary light of Venezuela.
Members of the South African student movements, trade unions and political parties also were present, reaffirming their solidarity with Bolivar's homeland, as did our officials present there. Venezuela will always be able to count on Cuba, in any trench, anywhere in the world.
