Tehran, January 25, 2019. The simple verses of the Cuban National Hero José Martí, declaimed in the Farsi language, moved all those present at the political-cultural event that the Cuban Embassy, Cuban residents and members of the Iranian Solidarity Organization Cuba, made to commemorate the 166th anniversary of the birth of the Master. An audiovisual that summarized the fruitful life of José Martí, was the perfect start to motivate several present nationals to deepen the study of the work and the universal example of Martí.
The headquarters of the Iranian solidarity in the Cultural Center "House of Coffee" located in the city of Karaj, was a small space to welcome all attendees to this emotional celebration, which heard several verses of the Apostle in the voice of members of solidarity and especially in that of the Iranian Cuban boy Daniel Farhad. Local musicians added beauty to the act, performing a brief repertoire in Spanish.
In his closing remarks, Ambassador Alexis Bandrich made a succinct tour of the important moment that our people are going through, which will soon ratify the strong support for a new Constitution that consolidates the progress of our revolutionary project, while reviewing the recent events in the sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the unwavering support of our people.
After thanking those present, he concluded: On January 20, 1961, Commander in Chief Fidel, the most martian of all Cubans, said: "... we can not be sure of the risks that we still have to run, but, however, we are sure of one thing: that whatever that future, easy or hard, the victory will be of our people ... "
We have sufficient and legitimate reasons and truths to face and overcome such hostility and contempt. We have Martí.
