The Cuban ambassador in Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer, met this week with the Vice Minister of Education and Science, Mr. Ganbayar G, before traveling to the island, presiding the delegation that will attend the International event "Pedagogy 2023"
The Cuban diplomat briefly explained the characteristics of the Cuban educational system and the teaching of medical sciences.
Both parties exchanged views about the existing cooperation in university scholarships and about the possibilities and mutual interest in continuing to expanding the colaboration.
The delegation will also carry out an intense program of interviews with high ranking officials of the Ministries of Education and Higher Education of Cuba and will visit various universities and other institutions of interest.
This is the first high-level delegation from Mongolia to Cuba after the interruption of travel for some years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
