Maseru, March 28, 2019.- The vice president of the Council of State and Ministers of Cuba, Inés María Chapman, concluded her official visit to the Kingdom of Lesotho. During his stay in this country, shecompleted a intense work schedule with the highest political and government authorities.
During the second and last day of her official visit to Lesotho, the Cuban Vice-President was also received by His Majesty King Letsie III; the Prime Minister, Thomas Thabane; and, the president of the National Assembly of the Kingdom, Sephiri Montanyane. The meetings were marked by the gratitude shown to Cuba for the cooperation given to the Basotho people, as well as for the confirmation of the will of both States to further strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and solidarity.
The Cuban delegation that accompanied the Vice President was composed of Armando Vergara Bueno, Deputy Director General of Bilateral Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba; Rodolfo Benítez Verson, Ambassador of Cuba to the Kingdom of Lesotho and officials of the Embassy of Cuba.
