Canberra, November 2, 2023. Members of the Cuba solidarity movement in Canberra held a vigil against the blockade at the Cuban Embassy in Canberra. During the event, video mapping was made on the walls of the Cuban diplomatic headquarters. During the evening, participants made live statements on the Embassy's Facebook page, denouncing the economic and financial blockade against Cuba and the damage it causes to the Cuban people.
There was also a presentation with infographics on the impact caused by the blockade, as well as an audiovisual material produced by the Cuban Embassy in Australia on the subject. The Third Secretary of the diplomatic headquarters, Ivianes Gonzalez, made Dècimas against the criminal blockade for the occasion.
At the event, which took place in an atmosphere of solidarity and love for the Cuban Revolution, the Cuban Ambassador to Australia thanked those present for their support on behalf of the Cuban people and authorities.
