Virtual forum between biotechnology and health companies from Cuba and Mongolia.

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. May 13, 2021. With the presence of the Vice President of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, Rubén Ramos and the Director of International Relations and Cooperation of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Mongolia, Ms. B. Amgalan, the first online forum between companies related to the production of biotechnological drugs and health services in both countries, took place.

The forum began with the presentation by specialists of novel products and services from Cuban companies LABIOFAM SA, the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB) and Servicios Medicos Cubanos SA (SMC). Twelve different Mongolian companies related to the commercialization and production of drugs with interests in the Cuban market participated. During the meeting, Mongolian companies asked Cuban speakers about the products and services promoted in the presentations.

This business forum constitutes one of the multiple activities agreed upon in the Action Plan for Cooperation between the Chambers of Commerce of both countries signed within the framework of the Agreement for the expansion of economic-commercial and investment relations. The Cuban Ambassador to Mongolia, Raúl Delgado Concepción, and the Third Secretary of the Mongolian Embassy in Havana, Unurjargal Tsegmid, on behalf of the Mongolian Ambassador Battsetseg Shagdar, participated also in the forum.
