Pretoria, May 20, 2023.- The Ambassador of Cuba to South Africa, Enrique Orta González, participated in the videoconference organized by the leadership of the Medical Brigade in South Africa, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Cuban health cooperation with the world.
More than 100 collaborators from the sector participated, grouped in different territories of all the South African provinces and also the brigade located in the Kingdom of Eswatini. The space was favorable to exchanging experiences on the mission that these professionals currently fulfill.
The Director of Human Resources of the South African Department of Health, Victor Kangile, also attended, in whose speech he thanked the presence and contributions of the Cuban doctors to the South African health system.
The Ambassador Orta González stressed that Cuban medical collaboration is the emblematic cooperation of the Revolution and while its 60th anniversary is celebrated, Cuba's solidarity with the world is also celebrated.
