The self-appointed "free press," "free" to hide and manipulate news, barely published images of the massive parades in Cuba celebrating International Workers' Day, May 1, and in support of the Revolution and its current leaders.
Why? Because these photos do not serve to criticize the Island, but rather the opposite, to refute the media campaigns of a supposed tired, decadent and unsupported Revolution.
These photos also prove that the enemies of Cuba, who called by all possible means to boycott the celebration, have no convening power in Cuba, but only a handful of opportunistic salaried mercenaries in search of a US visa, that sooner or later will leave the country, with that or another destination, in search of a better material life, like all those who preceded them in that role.
There is no worse blind than certain press and certain politicians who do not want to see the massive marches of May 1 in Cuba, not only in Revolution Square, José Marti in Havana, but in all the squares of the country's provinces.
Lester D. Mallory, Assistant Vice Secretary of State for Inter-American Affairs, had already said it since April 6, 1960, in a secret memorandum from the State Department: "The majority of Cubans support Castro..." which is the Revolution and as Abraham Lincoln said and it's true, "You can fool all the world some of the time. You can fool some all the time. But you can't fool all the world all the time."
Some images value more than thousands words. The photos of the massive parade celebrating May 1 in Havana's Square leave no room for doubt for any impartial and objective observer.
What the computers of the Empire could not calculate is that, despite the difficulties and challenges of daily life in Cuba, millions of Cubans, who are the only and true representatives of the people of Cuba, filled all the squares of Cuba on May 1, a sign that imperialism could not, cannot and will not be able to defeat Cuba.
The people, with its improvised handmade posters, its slogans and songs, celebrated International Workers' Day; supported the continuity of the Revolution, of socialism and the current leadership of the country.
The Cuban people also honored his scientific workers who created 5 vaccine candidates against Covid-19, of which today there are 3 effective vaccines, paid tribute to health workers and others who, at the risk of their own lives, worked tirelessly for 2 years, in Cuba and in dozens of countries, to save thousands of lives and so that almost 90% of the Cuban population was vaccinated and condemned the oldest and most criminal blockade in the world: the United States blockade against Cuba.
More than 1,050 friends from more than 50 countries participated in the historic May 1 parade in the Plaza de la Revolución in solidarity with the island, against the US blockade, and to show that Cuba is not alone.
The people of Cuba reaffirmed, once again, with their massive, colorful and enthusiastic participation in the parades that, as faithful followers of Maceo and Fidel Castro, Cuba was, is and will continue to be an eternal Baraguá of resistance and firmness.
