Canberra, 14 May 2024. On June 15, 2024, the National Concert Band of Cuba will present the work of the Australian maestro Lee Bracegirdle at the National Theater.
The maestro is a composer, conductor of symphony orchestras and professional French horn player; he has also maintained a close working relationship with Cuban orchestras since 2014.
The name of the work to be presented is "Legends of the Old Castle". It will be performed on a harp (soloist) accompanied by a wind and percussion orchestra.
The soloist will be Park Stickney, a famous Swiss-American harpist based in Switzerland.
The direction will be in charge of Igor Corcueres, general director of the National Band.
