THE WORK TIES OF THE EMBASSY, THE CUBAN MEDICAL BRIGADE AND THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH IN SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES REINFORCE

 On the occasion of the change of the head of the Cuban medical Brigade in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the Ambassador Vilma Reyes organized, at the headquarters of the diplomatic mission, a work lunch with the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Environment of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the outgoing head of the Medical Brigade, BSC Dr. Clara Elsie González and the new head of the Medical Brigade, Dr. Hilda Ponce.

During the meeting the parties discussed the State of cooperation between the two countries, the progress of the construction and installations in the Integral Diagnosis Center of Georgetown, the theme of the arrival and installation of equipment, organizational aspects of the arrival of Cuban medical personnel as well as provisions, regarding the opening of the medical Centre during the second half of this year.

The occasion was conducive to say farewell to  Dr. Clara Elsie González, wish her happy return to the homeland and success in her new tasks, as well as to welcome the new head of the Brigade and reiterate the support of the Embassy and Vincentian Ministry of health in the performance of her duties.
