Kentisha Daley is a young doctor from the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis who graduated from medicine in Cuba. She returns to Cuba to carry out postgraduate studies, as part of the cooperation agreements between the Antillean island and CARICOM countries.
On Wednesday morning, a virtual meeting took place between the Chambers of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba, represented by its Vice President, Rubén Ramos Arrieta, and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, represented by its Executive Director, Kevin Hope. The purpose of the meeting was to explore business opportunities in the agricultural sector.
On behalf of the Ministries of Health of Cuba and Saint Kitts and Nevis, Ambassador David Rivero Pérez and the local Permanent Secretary, Dr. Delores Stapleton-Harris, respectively, today signed a new health cooperation agreement, which will continue the Cuban medical collaboration in the Federation.
The Minister of International Trade, Consumer Affairs and Labor of the Government of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Honorable Wendy Phipps, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, David Rivero Pérez.
The Cuban Ambassador to Saint Kitts and Nevis David Rivero Pérez, was received by the General Secretary of the Trade and Labor Union, Precious Mills, and its President Sydey Bridgewater, at the headquarters of this organization.
