The Minister of Foreign Affairs International Trade, Civil Aviation and Diaspora Affairs of Saint Lucia, Honorable Alva Baptiste, today met with Yenielys Vilma Regueiferos Linares, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Saint Lucia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Rodney Bay, Gros Islet.
Castries, June 20, 2025 – The Minister of Education, Sustainable Development, Innovation, Science, Technology, and Vocational Training of Saint Lucia, the Honorable Shawn Edwards, received the Cuban Ambassador to Saint Lucia, Yenielys Vilma Regueiferos Linares, at the headquarters of his institution to discuss issues of bilateral interest.

At the invitation of Her Excellency Yenielys Vilma Regueiferos Linares, Cuban Ambassador to Saint Lucia, I had the honor of receiving a courtesy visit along with Shannon Lebourne, First Vice President of the SLBA.
We were also accompanied by Cuban specialist trainer Yunior Quintero and the director of the Ministry of Sports, Mr. Dane Magloire.
