Cuban Ambassador Presents Credentials to the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States

The Morne, July 16, 2026 – The Ambassador-designate of Cuba to the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), Yenielys Vilma Regueiferos Linares, presented her credentials this morning to Didacus Jules, Director General of the regional body. Officials and Commissioners participated in the ceremony both in person and virtually.

Following the formal proceedings, the Cuban Ambassador and the Director General delivered speeches highlighting the historic ties of bilateral cooperation between Cuba and the organization, exemplified by programs in biotechnology, education, health, scholarships, and climate change mitigation.
