Cuban Embassy in Cyprus donates toys to the school Solidarity with Panama.

This morning the Cuban Ambassador to Cyprus, Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero and his family handed over a donation of toys to the school Solidarity with Panama. The Ambassador was received by the headmistress of the school Teresa la Ocho and the Board of Directors. During the exchange they discussed the letters sent by the children of the Cypriot special needs school Ayios Spyridonas and coordinated future cooperation with the Cypriot institution.

Viva Cuba Fiesta II Festival

 In the afternoon of June 29, 2023, the Festival "Viva Cuba Fiesta II" was held in
the Metropolis of Tamasos in Episkopeio, organized by the Caliente dance school and the Cuban
Embassy in Cyprus, under the auspices of the Bishop of Tamasos and Orinis.
In the place the audience could enjoy the exhibition of antique cars, a live show of tobacco making by a
cigar roller, accompanied by photographs of a previous photographic exhibition on tobacco that had
been presented at the cultural center of Strovolos.

Minister of Health of Cyprus received Cuban Ambassador

The Minister of Health of Cyprus, Popi Nicolaidou Kanari received the Ambassador of Cuba, Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero and in a friendly atmosphere, they exchanged on the possibilities for closer relations between the two countries in the area of health.

Ambassador of Cuba visits Ayios Spyridonas Special School

Nicosia, 19 June, 2023. – The Ambassador of Cuba in Cyprus, Mr. Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero paid a visit to the Ayios Spyridonas Special School in Larnaca.

He was received by the director of the school and the academic staff, where they exchanged on matters of special education in Cuba and Cyprus and possible future collaborations which can help enrich each country’s expertise.

The children warmly welcomed the Ambassador and the Embassy’s staff with smiles and hugs and presented a special program they had prepared for the occasion.
