Cuba updates legal framework on telecommunications and typifies cybersecurity incidents

Havana, August 17th.- The Official Gazette No. 92 Ordinary of 2021 puts into force this Tuesday a group of new regulations on telecommunications, information and communication technologies (ICT), the use of the radioelectric spectrum and the incidents in cyberspace, which includes Decree-Law 35/21 on Telecommunications, Information and Communication Technologies and the Use of the Radioelectric Spectrum.

Fidel's emancipator legacy, exalted at the São Paulo Forum

Havana, August 14th. - By participating in the international virtual meeting Fidel, a man of science with a vision of the future, convened by the São Paulo Forum and the Communist Party of Cuba, the First Secretary of the Party and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez praised the contribution of the Cuban leader in the archipelago's efforts to achieve technological and scientific sovereignty.

At 95 years, the cedars were witnesses: Tribute to Fidel in Finland.

Havana, August 8th. - Cuba is willing to promote opportunities for its nationals residing abroad to contribute to the country, but obstacles such as the blockade impede investments, said a foreign ministry official. According to Ernesto Soberón, the Director General of Consular Affairs and Attention to Cuban Residents Abroad, the possible participation in processes of socioeconomic development in the nation opens a door in the links between the island and those living in other latitudes.
