The Cuban Embassy in Ireland expresses its deep appreciation and gratitude to all the Women comrades who, on behalf of various friendly political parties and organizations on International Women's Day, sent their messages of solidarity and appreciation to Cuban Women and especially to the members of the Henry Reeve International Medical Brigades.
We share below the text of the Statement from Women´s Committee of the Communist Party of Ireland on the occasion of International Women Day.
We appreciate the expressions of solidarity contained in this message and the special recognition of the humanitarian work carried out by the Henry Reeve Medical Brigades in confronting the COVID pandemic around the world.
Yasmary Rodríguez, a Cuban patriot living in Belfast and vice-coordinator of the solidarity group with Cuba in that city, talks to us about Cuban Women in Revolution.
Happy International Women's Day.

Dear friends of the Cuban-Irish family:
There are many reasons to extend cordial congratulations to you today on International Women's Day.
WOMEN, despite the progress made in gender equality, has had a double duty: their work, family care and at least a good part of the housework.
