Cuban Historian Eusebio Leal Spengler dies at 78

Cuba's authorities Friday announced the death of Havana's historian Eusebio Leal Spengler's at the age of 78 due to a deadly disease.

Politicians, journalists, and social activists have begun to show their condolences on social networks.

"Let us celebrate his wonderful passage through life, which was too short for those who loved him," Cuba's President Miguel Diaz-Canel tweeted.

The country will follow "his footsteps, his patient, and his infinite work in saving Cuba's heritage," Diaz-Canel added.

July 26th celebrated in Botswana

Events were hold all over Botswana celebrating July 26th, Day of National Rebellion, in the 67th anniversary of the attack on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes barracks.

Proud to continue the Revolution the Cuban Medical Teams, friends of Cuba and the Embassy got together to commemorate the important date in the history of Cuba.

Venues were decorated with Cuban national flag and the flag of the July 26th Movement.

Two new Motswana for scholarships of Medicine in Cuba

Cuban Ambassador H.E. Patricia L. Pego Guerra congratulates Motswana youngs Atang Balapile and Tshepo Masole, selected to study Medicine in Cuba.

Becoming doctors, amidst Covid-19, was the decision made by them, who will start the career at the Latin America School of Medicine (ELAM), in Havana, year 2020/2021, as part of the Cuban Program of Scholarships.

The diplomatic was accompanied by Dr. Liam Kadek, National Coordinator of the Cuban Medical Team in Botswana and Overt Tavare, graduated of Geology in the Island.
