Resist, Advance and Overcome Interview of the Ambassador of Cuba to the newspaper "Yazd Sun"

Tehran, January 3, 2019. On the eve of the 60th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution, Cuban Ambassador Alexis Bandrich, was interviewed by the Persian newspaper "El Sol de Yazd", in which he addressed the present and future of relations between Cuba and Iran, the deterioration of relations with the US government, continuity as a premise in the new Cuban government, the blockade of our country and other regional political issues.

Embassy of Cuba in Iran celebrates 60th Anniversary of the Revolution

Tehran, January 1, 2019. In a warm company of Cuban residents, members of the accredited Diplomatic Corps and members of solidarity organizations, the Cuban Embassy in Iran celebrated the 60th Anniversary of the Revolution. Ambassadors of Nicaragua, Venezuela, Bolivia, Chile and Serbia accompanied us in a joyful and deep celebration, committed and optimistic about the bright future that our people build.

Doha, 2nd January 2019.- The Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, the deputy Amir His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al Thani and H.E. the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H.E. Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani, sent a cable of congratulations to President of the State Council and Council of Ministers of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel on the anniversary of the Revolution victory in his country.

 

Raúl Castro: "The Revolution is still young"

Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, said today in Santiago de Cuba that the Revolution is still young, when pronouncing the central words of the Anniversary Commemorative Act 60 of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution. The Cuban leader recalled that the Cuban Revolution led by Fidel was continuity of the struggles for independence initiated by Carlos Manuel de Céspedes in 1868 and that had the National Hero José Martí as a top figure.
