Meeting with Prof. Dr. Krasae Chanawongse, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and President of the organizations "Raks Thai Foundation" and "Asian Disaster Preparedness Center". Present also S.E. Vichit Yathip, President of the Thailand-Myanmar Association of Cultural and Economic Cooperation and other representatives.

Excellent exchange on prospects for strengthening cooperation in the framework of the 60th Anniversary of the establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Thailand and Cuba, to be commemorated on 5/15/2018.

Emir greets President of Cuba

Doha 2 de enero 2018.-  His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, His Highness the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani sent cables of congratulations to Cuban President Raul Castro on the anniversary of his country’s Independence Day. Ambassador Miguel Porto Parga met the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrates of Lebanon

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrates, Mr. Hani Chemaitelly, received in his office at Butros Palace the new Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Porto Parga.

The officials discussed the good level of bilateral relations between the two countries and ratified the will of both governments to increase political exchange and economic cooperation.

CUBANS AND FRIENDS CELEBRATED THE 59 ANNIVERSARY OF THE REVOLUTION

Cubans and Ethiopians celebrated the anniversary of the Revolution

Addis Abeba.  The 59 anniversary of the Cuban Revolution was celebrated in a vibrant event hosted by the Embassy of Cuba in Ethiopia.

The Cuban Ambassador, H.E. Mrs. Vilma Thomas highlighted the results achieved by the Cubans in 2017 and invited them to work hard in 2018 in order to built a prosperous and sustainable socialist society.

In attendance were the staff of the Embassy, the Ethio-Cubans and other friends from various countries.
