Port of Spain, December 13, 2018. The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Caricom of Trinidad and Tobago, Honorable Dennis Moses, received the Ambassador of Cuba, Cro. Guillermo Vázquez Moreno, on the occasion of concluding his mission in the sister island of the Caribbean.
Members of the Georgian Orthodox Church expressed admiration and respect for the work, hospitality and humanitarian sense and solidarity of the Cuban people during a meeting with the Cuban ambassador in Georgia, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo.
During the evening, the Cuban diplomat thanked the invitation and highlighted the historical ties of friendship between the Georgian and Cuban people.

In his dissertation, the diplomat highlighted the friendship between both nations and the interest in increasing cooperation between Tbilisi and Havana.
