Solidarity movement with Cuba in Europe pays tribute to the Commander in Chief on the occasion of the second anniversary of his physical death

The delegates of the 18th European Solidarity Meeting with Cuba which was celebrated in Bohinj, Slovenia from 23 to 25 November concluded the crucial gathering with an event to pay homage to Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz on the occasion of the second anniversary of his physical death.  The Ambassador of Cuba to Austria and Non-resident Ambassador to Slovenia, Juan Antonio Fernández; the Vice-president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with Peoples, Noemí Rabaza Fernández, leaders and members of the solidarity organizations of 24 countries attended the event.

Tribute to Fidel in Denmark

On November 25 the organization "Artists for Peace" in Denmark, together with the Embassy of Cuba in this country and other Danish friends paid tribute to the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, on the occasion of commemorating the second anniversary of his death. The Cuban ambassador, Yiliam Gómez Sardiñas presented an exhibition that reflects Fidel's legacy to the internationalist and solidarity work of the Cuban Revolution. Many guests expressed admiration and respect towards the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution as strong defender of peace and social justice.

The 18th European Solidarity Meeting with Cuba in Slovenia begins

Friends of Cuba in Europe have gathered this weekend in Bohinj, Slovenia, on the occasion of the 18th Continental Solidarity Meeting with the Caribbean country. In the presence of a delegation from the Cuban Institute of Friendship with Peoples, headed by its Vice-president Noemí Rabaza Fernández and the Ambassador of Cuba to Austria and Non-resident Ambassador to Slovenia, Juan Antonio Fernández, the event was inaugurated in a day of full commitment to the Cuban Revolution.
