Embassy of Cuba attends the 22nd National Multicultural Festival
On Sunday 18th February, more than a dozen of Latin American Embassies beautify with their colors, flavours and traditions the 22nd National Multicultural Festival, wich took place one more time at the Australian Capital Territory Civic Square (ACT).
The Embassy of Cuba attended the event, offering to a public coming from the most diverse geographies, a deeper approach to Cuban history, customs and cultural richness.
Three new graduation ceremonies held in Australia due to the sucessful application of Cuban method "Yes I Can"

The Cuban method of literacy for adults, "Yes I Can", continues to be applied successfully in the aboriginal communities of New South Wales, under the leadership of the Literacy for Life Foundation, its president Jack Beetsony and the advice of the Cuban specialists, Lucy Núñez and Félix Hernández.

Canberra, 7th of December 2017. A delegation from the National Zoo of Cuba consisting of its Deputy Director Eduardo Padrón and the biologist Carlos Alberto Álvarez completed a working visit to Australia to promote cooperation with local zoos.
