Cuban Ambassador to Botswana pays courtesy call to the Speaker of Parliament.

The Ambassador of Cuba to Botswana, H.E. Patricia Lazara Pego Guerra, paid a courtesy call to Madam Speaker of the National Assembly, Honorable Gladys Kokorwe.

During the meeting, the parties expressed their political will to consolidate the existing parliamentary bonds between the two nations, talked about the excellent level of the bilateral relations and ratified the reciprocal interest to continue strengthening them in the sectors of Health, Sports and Higher Education.

New Cuban Ambassador to Botswana presents Letters of Credence

This morning H.E. Patricia Lazara Pego Guerra, presented her Letters of Credence as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotenciary of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Botswana.

H.E. Lieutenant-General Dr. Seretse Khama Ian Khama, president of the Republic of Botswana offered her a pleasant welcome and particularly praised Cuban cooperation in Health, which last more than 30 years.

Your Excellency, President Seretse Khama Ian Khama,

Thanks very much for this opportunity to present the letters of credence.

I am really honored to return to Botswana, now as ambassador, to represent the government and people of Cuba.
