Children and teachers from the Harriet Tubman public elementary school in Washington D.C., emotionally welcomed officials from the Cuban Embassy in that capital.
During the exchange, the children were able to learn about the history of the island, historical places, the main achievements of the Revolution in the health, education and sports sectors, as well as the bilateral relations between Cuba and the United States.
Between photos and participation games, the children took an imaginary trip to the nation of classic cars, impressive buildings and beautiful beaches.

Cuba advocates at Mnoal for a just solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez today proposed to the members of the Non-Aligned Movement (Mnoal) to speak out with unity and firmness to demand a just, comprehensive and lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Speaking at the ministerial meeting of the 19th NAM Summit, the head of Cuban diplomacy called for a solution to the conflict that includes the creation of an independent Palestinian state within the pre-1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital and the return of refugees.
