On August 13, more than hundred people—including students, professors, officials, politicians, diplomats, national authorities, and friends of Cuba—gathered in the auditorium of the University of Liberia (an institution with a seventy-year history) to pay tribute to a beloved friend of Africa and of the Liberian people and government.
