Finland-Cuba Friendship Association Recognizes Cuban Ambassador for her Broad Support
The Finland-Cuba Friendship Association cordially farewelled Ambassador Beatriz Parra González, thanking her for the collaboration received during this period. Matti Siltala, President of the organization, highlighted her broad support for solidarity and cultural promotion initiatives, as well as for organizing the brigades that visit Cuba annually. The Ambassador thanked Suomi-Kuubaseura for its support of her administration, especially for its ongoing denunciation of the impact of the blockade against Cuba, its support for Cuban public health, and its consistent cultural promotion work in Finland, even though they have been left without government resources. Also present at the meeting were the board members of the Finland-Cuba Association, Tiimo Seppala, Paula Pere, and Jaana Kanninen, and the Cuban Consul, Adalberto Ávila Parra, as well as other members of the Cuban Mission.
