Cuban Ambassador to Nigeria signs book of condolences in honor of former Namibian President Sam Nujoma

Abuja, February 19, 2025 – The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Nigeria, Miriam Morales Palmero, signed the book of condolences opened at the Embassy of Namibia in Nigeria after the death of the historic leader and first president of Namibia, Sam Nujoma. In this solemn act, the Cuban diplomat expressed the deep sorrow of the Cuban people and government for the irreparable loss of a close friend of the Cuban Revolution.

Cuba bids farewell to a Namibian friend

Abuja, February 19, 2024.- This afternoon, the Cuban Ambassador to Nigeria Miriam Morales Palmero participated in the funeral service organized by the Namibian Ambassador to Nigeria on the occasion of the death of the President of Namibia, Brother Hage G. Geingob.

The ceremony was carried out as part of the actions in honor of the career of the great friend of Cuba Hage Geingob.

Namibia Book of Condolences

Abuja, February 13, 2024.- This morning the Ambassador of Cuba in Nigeria Miriam Morales Palmero signed the book of condolences opened at the headquarters of the Namibian Embassy on the occasion of the death of the President of Namibia, Brother Hage G. Geingob.

It was a moment of sorrow and sadness in which the most heartfelt condolences were conveyed to the Namibian Ambassador on behalf of the Cuban people and government.
