Chen Chimutengwende conveyed condolences on behalf of the Parliament and the Government of his country. He evoked in his message the unforgettable moments of exchange with the Cuban politician, who will always be remembered for his valuable support for Pan-Africanist solidarity.

Mnangagwa, conveys heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Zimbabwean government and people to his Cuban counterpart Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, for accident at the Saratoga hotel that caused the loss of human lives and material damage. In the message, the Zimbabwean president recognizes the unity and strength of the Cuban nation to face adversity. He encourages the Cuban brothers to overcome the painful moment and the difficulties.

On the occasion of the Day of National Rebellion, the Ambassador of Cuba in Zimbabwe, Carmelina Ramírez, in the company of the Counselor, Yoisy Ford, held a meeting with the ZICUFA executive. In the event, solidarity actions were specified between both nations and in support of the Cuban government and people. Cuba is going through a difficult time due to the impact of the US economic, commercial and financial blockade and the most critical period of the pandemic.
The Cuban Ambassador in Harare, Carmelina Ramirez, was received by the Director of Political Affairs of the Zimbabwean Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Lovemore Mazemo. The Zimbabwean diplomat welcomed the Cuban Ambassador and conveyed messages of solidarity and support to the Cuban government and people.
