Sunday, June 21, 2020 — The Authority of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) meeting virtually at its Sixty-Ninth Session on June 18, 2020:
NOTING the renewed intensification of sanctions by the United States Government through its decision to certify the Republic of Cuba under Section 40A(a) of the Arms Export Control Act as “not cooperating fully” with the United States counterterrorism efforts in 2019.
Statement by The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States on Cuban Medical Brigades
Sunday, June 21, 2020 — The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) expressed its deep appreciation to the Republic of Cuba for the medical support provided to six (6) member countries of the Organisation to assist with efforts to combat the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the OECS and wider Caribbean region.
Cuban Foreign Ministry expresses strongly rejects the attitude of US Chargé d´Affaires in our country.

The director of Bilateral Issues at the General Division for U.S Affairs, Yuri Gala López, conveyed today to the U.S. chargé d'affaires, the strongest rejection of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the letter the aforesaid diplomat sent in collusion with José Daniel Ferrer, a common criminal.
