Honors for Cuba’s eternal father, Fidel.

SANTIAGO DE CUBA.— Floral wreaths from Army General Raul Castro Ruz, first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee, and President of the Republic Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez were placed before the monumental boulder in Santa Ifigenia Cemetery that holds the ashes of Comandante en Jefe Fidel Castro Ruz, on the occasion of Fathers Day, conveying the sentiment of a people who, in these days of battle, turn to the legacy of our eternal father, sure of victory.

Book about Fidel's thoughts published in Danish language

An excellent book about the thoughts of Fidel Castro Ruz, historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, has been published in the Danish language. The book: "Fidel - tanker om vores" includes a series of reflections from FIDEL that will undoubtedly help to spread the legacy and visionary thinking of the Commander in Chief in Denmark.

Tribute to Fidel in Cairo: Opening of the photo exhibition "Fidel Castro and the Revolution"

In the context of the first anniversary of the decease of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, the photo exhibition "Fidel Castro and the Revolution" was inaugurated at the premises of the Egyptian Center for International Cultural Cooperation. The photo chosen to head the exhibition was the one of meeting between the former Egyptian president, Gamal Abdel Nasser, and Fidel in New York, in 1960.

Tribute paid to Fidel in Albury

Albury, 23th of October 2017. The photo exhibition Fidel es Fidel by the outstanding Cuban filmmaker and photographer Roberto Chile was presented in Albury on October 21st and 22nd as part of an initiative organized by the Australian-Cuban Solidarity Association in Victoria and supported by the Embassy of Cuba in Australia.

The vice mayor of Albury, Amanda Cohn, also attended the opening session.

The attendees enjoyed the 17 snapshots, taken by Roberto Chile's masterful lens, of the Eternal Commander between 2005 and 2012.
