Cuba, Iran express willingness to strengthen bilateral cooperation
Senior Cuban and Iranian officials expressed their willingness to continue strengthening bilateral cooperations during a business forum held in Havana. The majestic event, which has been briefly attended by Iranian President confirmed Cuban interest in progressing in innovative and mutually beneficial businesses for the economic and social development of both nations, the First Deputy Foreign Trade and Investment Minister Ana Teresita Fraga stated, while explaining that both countries are determined to work on actions that help to increase Iranian entrepreneurs´ interests in Cuba.
Iran and Cuba review common agenda and cooperation
Iranian President Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, who is on an official visit to Cuba, fulfills a busy agenda on Thursday which includes talks with his counterpart Miguel Díaz-Canel in order to review common issues and cooperation. Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez welcomed Raisi at Havana’s José Martí International Airport on Wednesday.

Cuba defends multilateralism at international meeting in Iran
Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Elio Rodriguez called for the defense of multilateralism at the meeting of the Group of Friends in Defense of the United Nations Charter that is meeting in Iran on Saturday. During the gathering, the deputy foreign minister, who heads is heading Cuba’s delegation, demanded respect for the freedom and independence of nations, one of the essential principles of the document that governs the international organization.
