RESUME THE ACTIVITIES THE ASSOCIATION OF CUBANS RESIDENTS IN IRELAND.

Dublin, Sunday May 29, 2022. After two years without meeting due to the pandemic, the Association of Cuban Residents in Ireland "Ernesto Ché Guevara", in coordination with the Consular Office of the Embassy of Cuba in this country, restarted its activities. The recent Mother's Day and the next Father's Day, propitiated the call.

The Movement of Solidarity with Cuba and representatives of the Association of Cubans Resident in Ireland ratify their unwavering defence of the Cuban Revolution.

Dublin, May 20, 2022. On the occasion of the visit to Ireland of Elizabeth Ribalta Rubiera, official of the European Division of the “Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples” (ICAP), members of the solidarity movement and representatives of the Association of Cuban Residents ratified their will to defend the Cuban Revolution against the hostile US policy.

Secretary General of the Communist Party of Ireland holds fraternal meeting with ICAP representative.

Dublin, May 19, 2022: The Secretary General of the Communist Party of Ireland, Eugene McCartan, received today at the Party headquarters, Elizabeth Ribalta Rubiera, official of the European Division of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) who visits the country. In the fraternal meeting, the companion transmitted the greeting of the President of ICAP, Fernando González Llort, Hero of the Republic of Cuba.

Cuban President decrees official mourning for Saratoga accident

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel, today decreed official mourning "due to the deep pain of our people in the face of the unfortunate accident May 6 at the Saratoga Hotel".

According to the official statement, this will be effective from 06:00 on May 13 until 12:00 at night on May 14.

The president decreed the official mourning once the rescue and salvage actions were completed in the vicinity of the damaged hotel.

Cuba has so far reported 45 deaths, including a Spanish citizen, and almost a hundred injured.

Rescuers and firefighters today found the lifeless body of the last person to be identified as missing after the explosion.
