Wellington, October 2. The Cuban Ambassador, Edgardo Valdés López had a great meeting with Laura Cheftel, Executive Officer of Latin America/New Zealand Business Council (LANZBC) to explore ways to publicize business & investment opportunities in Cuba.

Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the CDR.

 

Wellington, September 28. Although thousands of kilometers from Cuba, in our Embassy we celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the CDR, with a "caldosa", a kind of soup traditionally made with the contribution of all the neighbors. Symbol of unity, cooperation and willingness to face together whatever comes. Cuba is ours.

 

Cuban President calls to democratize the UN.

Havana, September 22. In his speech to the UN General Assembly, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel said: “It is urgent to reform the UN. This powerful organization, which emerged after the loss of millions of lives in two world wars and as a result of a world understanding of the importance of dialogue, negotiation, cooperation and international law, must not postpone any further its updating and democratization. Today´s world needs the UN just as the one where it came into being did.
