Nicosia, April 27, 2022 - The new Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Cuba, Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero presented his Copies of Style to the Director of Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, Andreas Panayiotou
Mr. Andreas warmly welcomed the Cuban diplomat and congratulated him on his appointment as new Head of Mission in Cyprus.
For his part, the Ambassador conveyed on behalf of the President of the Republic, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, greetings to their counterparts.
During the cordial meeting, both parties noted the positive state of bilateral relations, which are based on historical ties, as well as exchanged on the continuity of actions and possible areas of cooperation in the near future.
The Cuban Head of Mission expressed his full readiness to work to continue promoting the bilateral relations between Cuba and Cyprus in different spheres. The Protocol Director said he could count on all the necessary support from the Cypriot Foreign Ministry to achieve the goals set (EmbaCuba Cyprus).
