The President of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with Peoples (ICAP) responded to the message of congratulations that Mr. Renwick Rose, President of the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines-Cuba Friendship Association, sent him in recent days.
The following is the text of the letter:
Havana, April 6th, 2017
Year 59 of the Revolution
Renwick Rose
President
St Vincent and the Grenadines/Cuba Friendship Society.
Dear friend:
I am grateful for the congratulatory message sent by my appointment as President of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, an institution of the revolution whose purpose is to strengthen friendship and solidarity.
Serve this moment to reaffirm that ICAP will continue to support the just causes of the world while thanking the International Solidarity Movement for the work it has done in a selfless way in defense of our main battles.
We are sure that in the present and future you will continue to offer your helping hand.
I transfer my commitment to dedicate myself totally to the responsibility that has been assigned to me, endeavoring to ensure that the international recognition of the Cuban Revolution in the first instance and of ICAP in particular is maintained.
On behalf of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, we express our gratitude to all members of the St Vincent and the Grenadines/Cuba Friendship Society and the solidarity movement on that sister island.
Fraternally,
Fernando González Llort
President
ICAP
