Project "Iris" promotes research on renewable sources in energy generation in Cuba

Helsinki, June 4, 2022.- Through a videoconference, Ambassador Beatriz Parra González exchanged this Friday with researcher Anaely Saunders, who is part of the group of academics participating in the bilateral collaboration project called "Iris".

In the virtual dialogue, Saunders presented from the city of Tampere, details of the project on the "Cuban Energy Transformation: Integration of intermittent renewable sources in the electrical system", which has been developed in that Nordic nation since 2019.

The Cuban representative thanked the approach to a topic of core importance for the future development of the Greater Antilles.
