Las Tunas, Cuba, November 7, 2022.- The contribution of the brigadistas Victoria de Girón, from the Finland-Cuba Friendship Association to the Mártires de Las Tunas Pediatric Hospital, contributes to mitigating the negative impact of the intensified blockade maintained by the government of the United States against the people of Cuba for more than 60 years.

For her part, the delegate of the Las Tunas branch of the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples, María Romero Ramírez, stressed that since 2010 the Finnish brigade members have continued to carry out painting and maintenance work at the Mártires de Las Tunas Pediatric Hospital and the Home Maternal Clodomira Acosta, in addition to financing the purchase of important resources for these centers.
