South African delegation of the Department of Basic Education participates in Pedagogy 2023

Havana, February 3, 2023.- The Minister of Basic Education of South Africa, Angie Motshekga, led the delegation from that country that attended the international event Pedagogy 2023, held in Cuba from January 30 to February 2, 2023. In this meeting, different topics were discussed, especially the challenges of post-pandemic education worldwide.

Motshekga also participated in the meeting of Ministers of Education convened by Cuba within the framework of the Group of 77 and China, which was attended by the Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla.

South Africa and Cuba maintain close and solid relations in the field of education, where both countries are signatories of important bilateral cooperation agreements.
