Pretoria, March 28, 2023.- The Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa, Dr. Naledi Pandor, received this Tuesday the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Elio Rodríguez Perdomo, who is making an official visit to the African nation.
The minister was accompanied by Ambassador Bona, Chief Director for Latin America and the Caribbean of the South African Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation. On the Cuban side, the Cuban ambassador to South Africa, Enrique Orta González and Luis Alberto Amorós Núñez, director of Sub-Saharan Africa of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also participated.
During the meeting, both parties highlighted the good state of bilateral relations and ratified the will to strengthen political dialogue and cooperation between Cuba and South Africa.
The South African foreign minister ratified the support of her people and government in the battle to lift the economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba.
