Cuban Ambassador receives South African Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Sibongiseni Dhlomo

Pretoria, May 23, 2023 - The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to South Africa, Enrique Orta González, held a fruitful meeting with the Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of South Africa, Dr. Sibongiseni Dhlomo.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Director of the Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB), Yasser Ramos, as well as officials from the South African National Department of Health and officials from the Cuban Embassy in Pretoria.

Both parties expressed satisfaction with the excellent state of bilateral relations in this sector and expressed their willingness to work together to strengthen collaboration in the biopharmaceutical field.
