Cuban Ambassador Oscar Leon Gonzalez agreed with his interlocutors at the Qatari Foreign Ministry on the friendly relations developed by the two countries. This fact was highlighted during the meetings held with H.E. Mr. Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi, Minister of State; H.E. Dr. Ahmad Hassen Al-Hammadi, Secretary General; and H.E. Ambassador Essa bin Mohammad Essa AlMannai, Director of the Department of American Affairs.
Diplomatic officials also recognized the progress in health cooperation and the potential for further improvement in this and other areas. They underlined the positive impact of the Cuban health collaborators' works on Qatari society.
The Ambassador thanked Their Excellencies for the support received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other national institutions and expressed his confidence in further progress in bilateral ties.
