The Cuban ambassador to Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer, met at the headquarters of the diplomatic mission with about 14 journalists from a dozen Mongolian media outlets who will arrive to Havana today, September 13, to cover the Summit of the G77, with the participation of the President of Mongolia, His Excellency. Mr. Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and the bilateral meetings that will take place during the visit.
The Ambassador thanked the interest and enthusiasm of the Mongolian media and journalists for traveling to Cuba to cover the Summit of Heads of State and Government of the G77 plus China: “Current development challenges: Role of Science, Technology and Innovation”, which will be held on September 15 and 16 and with the participation of its President.
The diplomat briefed the large delegation of television, print and digital media about the history of Cuba, the roots of the historical dispute with the United States that dates back to the beginning of the 19th century, the U.S. economic blockade, the main achievements and challenges of the Cuban revolution, bilateral relations between our two countries, the G77 Group and the Havana Summit.
He also talked about the logistical aspects of press participation in the Summit. He wished them a safe trip and a pleasant and productive stay in our country.
