Michael Reese, promoter of the cultural project “Letters from Ohio” announced the presentation of the joint program: "Once again, artists from Ohio and Cuba, united."
Through the presentation of films, performances and exhibitions in Havana, from October 9 to 14, American artists aim to extend through culture a bridge of dialogue, rapprochement and harmony between both peoples.
The program includes the presentation of a film by Krystopher Scott, performances by Barbara Fant at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Wifredo Lam, and Donald Isom at the Instituto Superior de Arte. In addition, the Taller Experimental de Grafica in Havana will be the venue for an exhibition of that demonstration.
This project is inserted in the context of celebrations in Cuba for the National Culture Day, which will have its peak on October 20.
